Terms of Use
These are the terms on which you may use Prelabz. They cover your account, who owns what you upload, and — the part most worth reading — what we do not promise.
Effective: 8 August 2026
Version: 2026-08-08-draft.1
These terms are a working draft
Prelabz operates this service and is the party you are contracting with. Our registered company details and the governing law are shown below as being confirmed — they are not yet settled, and this page will be updated when they are. This draft has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
We would rather show you an unfinished document than a finished-looking one with invented details in it.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Prelabz provides this service. Where these terms say “we” or “Prelabz”, that is who they mean. By using Prelabz you agree to these terms; if you do not agree to them, please do not use it.

Prelabz is a separate business from Corporate AI Solutions, whose name appears in some parts of the product while we complete the separation.
2. What Prelabz does
Prelabz is a tool for founders raising capital. It:
- analyses a pitch deck you upload and produces a report on it;
- scores the deck, and re-scores it as you improve it;
- coaches you through Maya, by voice or by text;
- lets the Prelabz team review submissions, and lets investors we have granted access see material you have chosen to share.
It is a tool for preparing to raise. It is not a broker, a placement agent, a financial adviser, or a party to any investment.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 16 to use Prelabz.
- Keep your login details to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Give us accurate information, and keep your email address current, because that is how we send your report.
- If you use Prelabz on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company to these terms.
4. Your deck stays yours
You own everything you upload. Uploading a deck to Prelabz does not transfer any ownership of it to us, and nothing in these terms is intended to.
What you give us is a limited permission to do specific things with it. Those things are set out in the Data Use Policy, which you agree to each time you upload — including that a member of the Prelabz team reads your deck, and that anonymised patterns drawn from it improve the advice we give other founders.
We have deliberately not repeated those terms here. There is one statement of what happens to your deck, it lives in the Data Use Policy, and if this page and that one ever appear to disagree, the Data Use Policy is the one you agreed to and the disagreement is a fault on our side that we want to hear about.
When you upload, you are confirming you have the right to. If a deck contains someone else’s confidential material and you were not permitted to share it, that is not something we can know or check.
5. What we do not promise
- We do not promise you will raise money. Nothing Prelabz produces is a prediction that you will, or will not.
- A score is not a verdict on your business. Reaching any particular score does not entitle you to an introduction, a meeting, an investment, or a place in any programme.
- We do not promise to introduce you to investors, and no investor is under any obligation to look at your material.
- Nothing here is financial, legal or investment advice. Take your own advice before acting on anything Prelabz tells you.
- We do not promise the service is always available. It may be interrupted for maintenance or by failures outside our control.
We are saying this plainly because the product is designed to move a number upward, and a number moving upward invites the reading that something has been guaranteed. Nothing has been.
6. The analysis is AI-generated
Your report and your coaching are produced by AI models. That has consequences worth stating rather than burying:
- It can be wrong. AI models misread documents, miss context, and state incorrect things confidently.
- It is not consistent. The same deck analysed twice may not produce identical wording or an identical score.
- It has no knowledge of your business beyond what you give it. A criticism may simply reflect something your deck did not say.
- Maya remembers previous sessions. What she recalls is a summary, and a summary can be an imperfect record of what you said.
Treat the output as a well-informed second opinion to argue with, not as a finding of fact. Check anything you intend to rely on.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload material you do not have the right to upload;
- upload anything unlawful, or anything containing malware;
- attempt to access another user’s account, deck or report;
- probe, scrape or overload the service, or work around its access controls;
- use Prelabz to build a competing product, or resell access to it without our written agreement;
- impersonate someone else, or upload a deck belonging to a company you have no connection with.
If you find a security problem, please tell us rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine vulnerability in good faith and gives us a chance to fix it.
8. Fees
Prelabz is currently free to use. Paid plans are planned but are not on sale, and no price on any page of this site is a live offer.
We will not start charging you without asking you first. If paid plans launch, we will tell you what they cost, whether the price includes or excludes tax, and you will have to actively choose one. Nothing you use for free today converts to a paid subscription by itself.
9. Our material
The Prelabz software, its scoring methodology, its coaching material and its brand belong to us. Your report is yours to use however you like — show it to investors, your co-founders, your advisers. What you may not do is take the underlying methodology and rebuild it as your own product.
10. Ending your use of Prelabz
You can stop at any time. Delete your decks, close your account, and ask us to erase what Maya remembers about you. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what deletion does and — importantly — the one thing it does not undo.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches section 7, or where we are required to by law. Except where it would be unlawful or unsafe to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to get your material out first.
11. Liability
We provide Prelabz with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for business losses — lost investment, lost revenue, lost opportunity — arising from your use of it, or from a decision you took because of something it told you.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
The overall limit on our liability is one of the clauses awaiting legal review, and it will be stated here explicitly rather than left implied.
12. Changes to these terms
We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a material change, and the version number and date at the top of this page will change so you can see that something moved. If you do not accept a change, you can close your account and take your material with you.
13. Governing law
Prelabz Inc is incorporated in Delaware, United States, so United States law governs these terms. The specific state and the courts that would hear a dispute are being confirmed with our advisers.
If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
14. Contact
